Branislav Panis

Branislav Panis is a prominent Slovak cultural figure who served as the director of the Slovak National Museum for eight years until his dismissal in 2022. He has extensive experience in managing museum collections and transporting valuable art pieces, including historical artifacts from ancient Egypt and Italy. Recently, he was in the news for expressing concerns over the transfer of a rare bust by Donatello from the Slovak town of Levoča, criticizing the lack of transparency regarding the transport agreement and advocating for the bust's return to its rightful place in Spiš.
