Branko Zorko

Branko Zorko is a retired Croatian middle-distance runner who gained recognition for his performance in the 1500 meters at the 1997 World Championships in Athens, where he became the first Croatian male athlete to reach the semifinals in track events on the world stage. His achievements paved the way for future Croatian middle-distance runners.
