Brayan Montaño

At just 30 years old, Brayan Montaño is a passionate leader from Buenaventura, Colombia, who has dedicated his life to promoting peace and positive opportunities for the youth in his community. Growing up in a region plagued by violence, he has experienced firsthand the impact of gang warfare and its toll on young lives. Through his organization, Pro y Paz, Brayan works tirelessly to empower young people through art, sports, and social activism, steering them away from crime and towards constructive paths. He passionately advocates for the recognition of Buenaventura's youth potential, urging society to see them not as victims, but as active participants in the fight for a better future. His dream is to one day serve as governor of Valle, representing the aspirations of his community.
