Brendan Venter

Brendan Venter is a former South African rugby player and coach, renowned for his tactical acumen and leadership in the sport. He played as a centre and had a notable playing career, including representing South Africa during the 1990s. Following his retirement as a player, Venter transitioned into coaching, where he made significant contributions to various teams, including Saracens, where he served as a coach and helped to shape their strategy and player development. Recently, he has been named the Director of Rugby at Saracens, set to assume the role at the end of the 2025/26 season, following the tenure of Mark McCall.
