
Bríd Golden
Bríd Golden, previously known as Bríd Hallissey, is a former Irish heptathlete and current president of Athletics Ireland. She made her international heptathlon debut at the age of 16 and went on to win 11 Irish heptathlon titles, setting the national record five times throughout her career. Golden was instrumental in promoting the heptathlon in Ireland and has continued to support the sport through coaching and leadership roles.
