Brine Miranda

Brine Miranda is a 51-year-old migrant from Zimbabwe who has lived in South Africa since 2008. As one of the few remaining foreigners in his township, Miranda has faced the recent surge of violence against migrants, which has left him fearful for his family's safety. He struggles to make a living selling handmade crafts, while also dealing with the challenges of being undocumented and the stigma associated with migration in South Africa.
