Britt Edwall
Britt Edwall was a prominent Swedish radio producer, playwright, and author, born in Stockholm. She studied theater history at Stockholm University and became the chairperson of the Stockholm Student Theatre in 1957. Over the decades, she produced numerous cultural programs, reports, plays, and documentaries for Sveriges Radio, earning recognition for her integrity and sharpness. Edwall was also an accomplished writer and translator, debuting with the novella "AJ" in 1994 and publishing her first novel, "Darra lagom," in 1998. In addition to her radio work, she contributed to Dagens Nyheter and Månadsjournalen, often employing humor in her journalism. She was married to actor and director Allan Edwall from 1957 to 1965 and passed away at the age of 90.
