Bruce Collette

Bruce Collette is an American ichthyologist who first observed the unidentified fish species at the Hamburg museum in 1986. His early recognition of the fish's significance set the stage for subsequent research that ultimately led to its classification as a new species, Zenarchopterus takaoensis.
