Bruce Kirenga

Bruce Kirenga is the head of the Makerere Lung Institute, a research organization conducting trials for a new Ebola vaccine developed by the International Aids Vaccine Initiative (IAVI). His work is pivotal in addressing the recent outbreak in Uganda by targeting contacts of confirmed cases.
