Bruno Bušić
Bruno Bušić was a Croatian dissident and activist who became a symbol of resistance against the communist regime in Yugoslavia. He was involved in anti-communist activities and was known for his writings advocating for Croatian independence. Bušić's outspoken criticism of the regime ultimately led to his assassination in 1978, making him a martyr for the Croatian nationalist movement.
