
Brynja Þrastardóttir
Brynja Þrastardóttir has been appointed as the new head of market supervision at Nasdaq Iceland, taking over from Baldvin Ingi Sigurðsson. She has been with Nasdaq Iceland since 2020, initially working as a market supervision specialist before transitioning to a role in business management within the company's listing division. Brynja is currently completing two master's degrees at the University of Iceland, one in financial economics and the other in international relations, having previously earned a B.Sc. in business administration with a focus on finance in 2018.
