After starting ballet at the age of three and later working with the Istanbul State Opera and Ballet, she transitioned to stage performances and television roles. Orhon has two daughters with actor Süheyl Uygur and also has a daughter from a previous relationship with Irish singer Johnny Logan. Residing partly in Kuşadası, she dedicates her time to teaching dance to enthusiasts of all ages while remaining an influential figure in Turkish popular culture.
