Buti Manamela is a South African politician and member of the African National Congress (ANC), who has served as the Deputy Minister of Higher Education and Training. Following the dismissal of Nobuhle Nkabane, he was appointed as the new Minister of Higher Education and Training by President Cyril Ramaphosa, amid calls for accountability and reform in the department.
