Caitlin Shane

Caitlin Shane is a staff lawyer at the Pivot Legal Society in Vancouver's Downtown Eastside, actively engaged in addressing the overdose crisis in Canada. With extensive experience in harm reduction, she has revived individuals from overdoses using naloxone and has been an advocate for public health measures that prioritize emergency assistance over policing, particularly in light of the challenges posed by the opioid epidemic.
