After consuming contaminated alcohol in Vang Vieng, Laos, he experienced alarming symptoms that led to his sudden blindness. Calum is now actively raising awareness about the dangers of methanol poisoning and advocating for clearer travel advisories from the Foreign Office to help prevent similar tragedies.
