Calvin Zang Oyono

Calvin Zang Oyono was a prominent Cameroonian politician and member of the Rassemblement Démocratique du Peuple Camerounais (RDPC), serving as a senator for three consecutive terms from 2013 until his recent passing. He held significant roles within the Senate, including the presidency of the RDPC parliamentary group, where he advocated for the interests of his party and the South region of Cameroon. A graduate of the École Nationale d'Administration et de Magistrature, he had a background in financial governance, having previously served as the Director General of Taxes and Deputy Director General of the Cameroon Oil Transportation Company. His recent death has left a notable vacancy within the RDPC as the parliamentary session approaches.
