Camillo Torquato

Camillo Torquato is an electrical engineer and the founder of T&D Sustentável, a company focused on water management. He gained attention for his experience in franchising, particularly for inviting eight former colleagues to become the initial franchisees of his brand based on friendship rather than assessing their entrepreneurial skills. This decision led to significant challenges, including poor performance of the franchises and financial losses exceeding R$ 1 million as he had to buy back units and negotiate agreements with the former franchisees.
