Candice Hopkins

Candice Hopkins is a respected curator and art historian of the Carcross/Tagish First Nation, recognized for her innovative work in promoting Indigenous art and culture. She was set to curate a major exhibition titled 'Indian Theater: Native Performance, Art, and Self-Determination since 1969' at the Vancouver Art Gallery, which was ultimately canceled in light of the gallery's recent budget cuts and restructuring.
