Carina Núñez

Carina 'Becha' Núñez is the captain of the Argentina women's futsal team, known for her leadership and dedication to the sport. At 33 years old, she has played professionally in Spain for several years while balancing her career with a job at a research center. As a mother, she supports her 13-year-old daughter living in Argentina, and she dreams of leading her team in the first-ever FIFA Women's Futsal World Cup scheduled for November. Having previously been a part of the national team that became runners-up in the 2023 Copa América, Núñez embodies passion and resilience, striving for greater recognition and opportunities for women's futsal.
