Carlo Legrottaglie
Carlo Legrottaglie was a 60-year-old carabiniere who tragically lost his life during a police pursuit in Francavilla Fontana. He was serving with the radiomobile unit and was soon due to retire in July. Legrottaglie was engaged in an operation to prevent a robbery when he was fatally shot after a collision with a suspect's vehicle.
