Carlos Alberto Caetano

Carlos Alberto Caetano, affectionately known as Seo Carlão do Peruche, was a revered sambista and one of the founders of the Unidos da Peruche samba school in São Paulo. He played a pivotal role in the Brazilian carnival scene and was a beloved figure in the community until his passing at the age of 94 on February 17, 2025. His legacy continues to influence samba culture, and his death marked a significant loss for the carnival.
