Carlos Azevedo

D. Carlos Azevedo is a Portuguese bishop who previously served as the auxiliary bishop of Lisbon and is currently a delegate of the Pontifical Committee for Historical Sciences in Rome. He has been in the news due to a disciplinary process initiated by the Holy See against him, following past allegations of sexual harassment that date back to the 1980s, which he has consistently denied.
