At just 12 years old, Carlos Gerad Ramírez Cisneros from Azacualpa, Santa Bárbara, has made a mark in the world of mathematics by earning a gold medal at the XXIII Olimpiada Hondureña de Matemáticas, which secured his spot as Honduras' representative at the International Primary Mathematics Olympiad (VI Olimpri) to be held in Mexico. Starting his journey in mathematics competitions in 2024, Carlos has consistently excelled, achieving first place in various municipal, departmental, and national contests. With dreams of becoming a businessman, he is determined to make his community proud and showcase his talents on an international stage.
