Carlos González Pilares

Carlos González Pilares is the president of the Cámara de Turismo del Cusco (Cartuc), an organization dedicated to promoting and developing tourism in the Cusco region. Recently, he has been vocal about the challenges facing Machu Picchu, including the risk of losing its designation as a wonder due to unsustainable tourism practices and management issues.
