Carlos Illanes

Carlos Illanes is a retired Air Force colonel and a political figure in Peru, known for his role as the head of the National Intelligence Directorate during Martín Vizcarra's presidency. Recently, he was nominated as a replacement candidate for the first vice presidency by the party Perú Primero after Martín Vizcarra's candidacy was deemed ineligible due to his multiple legal disqualifications.
