Alias Gringo, Carlos L. is a notorious leader of the Oliver Sinisterra armed group, known for his significant role in drug trafficking between Ecuador and Colombia. He was captured in January 2024 during an intelligence operation in Ibarra and subsequently deported to Colombia. Authorities identified him as the main orchestrator of drug and arms logistics for his group and highlighted his connections with other criminal organizations.
