Carlos Luis Morales, also known as 'Pestañita', was a prominent Ecuadorian footballer who played as a goalkeeper. He became well-known for his time with Barcelona Sporting Club, where he contributed significantly to the team's successes in the late 1980s and early 1990s. After retiring from football, Morales served as the prefect of the province of Guayas. He passed away on June 22, 2020, due to a heart attack.
