Carlos Payán

Carlos Payán is a Mexican journalist and the founding director of the newspaper La Jornada. He was also a patient of Arnoldo Kraus, which led to their friendship and Kraus's subsequent role as a columnist for the paper. Payán has been instrumental in promoting critical journalism and has contributed significantly to the landscape of Mexican media.
