Carlos Soza

Carlos Soza is a prosecutor with the Fiscalía de Delitos contra Turistas Extranjeros del Ministerio Público in Guatemala, known for his role in investigating cases involving foreign tourists. Recently, he was involved in the investigation regarding the disappearance of Raymond Vincent Ashcraft, an American tourist who went missing in Tikal in February 2023. Soza announced the discovery of human remains in close proximity to Tikal, indicating that they might belong to Ashcraft, and emphasized the importance of DNA analysis to confirm the identity.
