Carlos Steer Lafont
Carlos Steer Lafont was a young Peruvian who gained infamy for assassinating the director of El Comercio, Antonio Miró Quesada, along with his wife, María Laos, on May 15, 1935. Born on March 20, 1915, he was involved in political activism as a member of the Federación Aprista Juvenil (FAJ).
