Carlos Wittgreen

Carlos Wittgreen was a key figure in Panama's military history, serving as the right-hand man to General Manuel Noriega. His extensive involvement with Noriega spanned from the 1960s through the late 1980s, during which he became privy to numerous covert operations linked to both U.S. intelligence and drug trafficking. Wittgreen's insights into Noriega's regime and the complex relationship with U.S. authorities were captured in his final interviews, which culminated in the publication of 'The Right Hand Man' shortly after his passing in March 2025.
