Carlos XII
Carlos XII, also known as Charles XII of Sweden, was King of Sweden from 1697 until his death in 1718. He is best known for his military leadership during the Great Northern War, where he led Sweden to several victories before ultimately facing defeat and exile, which marked the decline of Swedish power in Europe.
