Carmel Delaney

Carmel Delaney was an Irish-American woman in her early 60s, known for her vibrant social life and deep connections to both her American and Irish roots. Born in New York to Irish parents, she spent much of her life traveling and living in various countries due to her husband's career at Goodyear. A mother of four and grandmother of two, Carmel was actively involved in community activities in Brussels, particularly with the Brussels Women's Club, where she was remembered for her positive spirit and organizational skills. Tragically, she was murdered in her home in Brussels, an event that has shocked the local community.
