Carmelo Centineo

Carmelo Centineo was a 51-year-old entrepreneur in the cleaning industry, who tragically passed away shortly after being discharged from the Martini Hospital in Turin. He had presented to the emergency room with chest pains but was sent home with a diagnosis of hypertension and a prescription for an anxiolytic. Centineo assured his friends that his condition was manageable and intended to follow up with his primary care physician. However, he was found deceased at home by his 20-year-old son the day after his hospital discharge. His death has prompted an investigation by the Turin Prosecutor's Office to determine if there were any medical responsibilities involved.
