Carmen Chisaguano

Carmen Chisaguano is a member of the indigenous community from Riobamba, Latacunga, who participated in a peaceful march organized by the Movimiento Indígena y Campesino de Cotopaxi (MICC) to protest against the elimination of the diesel subsidy. She expressed her concerns about the rising costs of agricultural inputs and the economic strain on local farmers, emphasizing that the price increase of diesel significantly affects their livelihoods and the affordability of essential services.
