Carmen H. R.

Carmen H. R. is an elderly woman in her late seventies who has lived in extreme poverty and vulnerability in Torres de la Alameda, Madrid. She has a physical disability that affects her mobility and has been primarily responsible for caring for her son, Antonio A. H., after the death of her mother. Despite her difficult circumstances, Carmen has been a long-time resident of the area and has faced years of harassment and attacks from local youths, which recently escalated into a serious incident that drew the attention of law enforcement.
