Carole Gordon

Carole Gordon is the president of the British Columbia Teachers' Federation (BCTF), advocating for improved educational supports for students with disabilities and diverse needs. In the wake of the Tumbler Ridge shooting, she has highlighted the chronic underfunding of mental health resources in schools and called for the implementation of one mental health counsellor in every school, a commitment made by B.C.'s NDP government leading to the 2024 election.
