Carolina Hurricanes

The Carolina Hurricanes are a professional ice hockey team based in Raleigh, North Carolina, and are a member of the Metropolitan Division of the National Hockey League (NHL). Established in 1971, the franchise originally began in Hartford, Connecticut, as the Whalers before relocating to North Carolina in 1997.
