Caroline Barmelin is the wife of Guy Parmelin, the President of the Swiss Confederation, and was recently in the news for her visit to Abu Dhabi where she met with Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak to discuss strengthening ties between the UAE and Switzerland, particularly in areas concerning motherhood, childhood, and family.
