Caroline Dufaux

Caroline Dufaux has been appointed as the chief financial officer of the Bank of Montreal's U.S. division as the bank seeks to enhance profitability in that sector. Previously serving as the CFO of BMO's capital markets unit, she has a robust background in financial governance and strategic direction. Dufaux joined BMO in 2017, bringing experience from her role at Barclays, where she managed capital and leverage for the Americas. Her new position will begin on January 1, following the departure of her predecessor, as the bank aims to improve its return-on-equity metrics.
