Carolyn Ferns

Carolyn Ferns is the public policy and government relations co-ordinator for the Ontario Coalition for Better Child Care, where she advocates for improved child-care policies in Ontario. Recently in the news, she expressed concerns about the provincial government's child-care funding extension, highlighting that it does not fulfill the promise of reducing fees to an average of $10 a day as initially planned, and called for more substantial negotiations to address the ongoing funding challenges.
