Carren Agengo

Carren Agengo is the Principal Secretary for the newly inaugurated State Department for Children Welfare Services in Kenya. She recently took over from Joseph Motari during a handover ceremony presided over by Cabinet Secretary Dr. Alfred Mutua. Agengo is committed to implementing the transformative Children Act, 2022, with a focus on establishing child protection infrastructure and enhancing the legal framework for children's rights in the country.
