Cassie Gaines

Cassie Gaines (1948-1977) was a backup singer for the Southern rock band Lynyrd Skynyrd and the sister of guitarist Steve Gaines. She contributed to the band's distinctive sound and was part of their successful lineup during the 1970s. Tragically, Cassie lost her life in the same plane crash that took the lives of several band members, leaving a lasting impact on the band's history and the music community.
