Catherine Wanjiru

Catherine Wanjiru, also known as Sharon Cate, was a 40-year-old woman from Nairobi whose tragic death on May 9, 2025, has drawn significant attention. Described as a peaceful person and a loving mother to two children, Wanjiru had aspirations to start a business with her sister, which tragically will never come to fruition. Her life was cut short in a gruesome murder, allegedly perpetrated by her boyfriend, Samuel Mathenge, in an incident that has left her family and community in shock.
