Cecil Powell
Cecil Powell (1903-1990) was a British physicist awarded the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1950 for developing the photographic method to study nuclear processes and for the discovery of mesons. He led a research team at the University of Bristol that included César Lattes, who played a crucial role in the discovery of the pion.
