Cécile Winter

Cécile Winter dedicated her life to caring for patients with AIDS, serving as an internist and later directing the HIV service at the Montreuil Hospital from 1993 to 2017. A former Maoist activist with degrees in philosophy and Chinese, she chose to pursue medicine at the age of 28, driven by a desire to be of service to others. Her commitment to her patients and the fight against the stigma of AIDS has made her a respected figure in the medical community.
