Cecília Coimbra

Cecília Coimbra is a human rights activist and vice-president of the Tortura Nunca Mais organization in Rio de Janeiro, which fights against torture and advocates for victims of Brazil's military dictatorship. Having herself been a victim of political repression, she continues to campaign for justice and recognition of the past, arguing for federal laws to ensure the commemoration of historical sites associated with state violence.
