Cecilia Gentili

Cecilia Gentili was an Argentine trans woman, activist, and author who became a beloved figure in New York's trans community, known for her work as a sex worker and for supporting and mentoring many young trans individuals, particularly Latina trans girls. Her untimely death from an accidental overdose at the age of 52 left a significant impact on her community, as she was celebrated not only for her contributions to activism but also as a personal friend and maternal figure to many.
