Cedric Waters Hill

Cedric Waters Hill was another British officer who was captured during World War I and held as a prisoner of war in Turkey. Alongside Elias Henry Jones, Hill devised a cunning plan to feign psychiatric issues in order to escape from their harsh conditions in a Yozgat camp. Their story illustrates the lengths to which prisoners would go to regain their freedom during the war.
