Celeste Papasso

Celeste Papasso gained notoriety in March 2023 when she publicly accused former senator Gustavo Penadés of sexual abuse when she was 13 years old. Her claims contributed to Penadés facing multiple charges related to sexual offenses against minors. However, Papasso herself was later convicted of several crimes, including false accusation, defamation, and private violence, leading to her serving time in a rehabilitation center. Recently, she was released from prison after reducing her sentence by completing her secondary education and studying law, expressing a newfound motivation to change her life.
